Carpeted or all season

Carpeted mats are the factory look. The genuine set uses a high density deep pile with a precision embossed aluminum INFINITI emblem, and the driver mat secures with a grommet hole and positioning hook so it cannot creep toward the pedals. All season high wall liners are the other answer: a raised lip that holds water, mud and whatever came off your boots, which is the version worth having if the vehicle sees job sites, lake trips or a Texas thunderstorm in the school pickup line.

Sets, rows and console layout

This is where the ordering mistakes happen. Three row vehicles have their own part numbers, and within those, a bench second row and captain chairs take different pieces. A full console and a half console change the center mat. Trunk and cargo mats are listed separately again. The listing title states the configuration, and the vehicle picker narrows it down, but the VIN is what settles it.

Why the retention matters

An unsecured mat that slides forward can trap a pedal. That is the reason factory mats are built around the hooks and grommets already in your floor pan, and the reason a universal mat laid on top of the original is the wrong answer.
